I was informed this past Tuesday by someone close to the company that the RWS 22 WMR is in the country but has not yet arrived in Birmingham. I was told that the cost will be $1.00/round!

well at a buck a round they can keep it. you know some of the best 22lr match amo at 18 bucks for 50 and I doubt it is that much harder to load 22 mags to match level so I could see it being more than 22lr but at 50 bucks I dont think I would buy any.

Sent an inquiry to Anschutz NA about availability of RWS 22WMR, and the response was yes, are expecting some by mid-April, with no pricing yet, but expect it to be expensive. Guess we wait and see, will keep checking with them.

They can keep it! I bought this ammo probably 15 yrs ago expecting great things.
It was 20.00 a box then & did not deliver anything that I couldn't aready get from CCI or Win. BTW, @ the time, it did not chrony anywhere near the claimed 2000 FPS.

Don't say you haven't been warned!

The stock of RWS .22 Magnum Ammunition has just been received at GSI/Anschutz North America (5 cases of SP, 1 case of FMJ) in Trussville, Alabama.

Pricing:

One Box of 50 - $49.50
One Brick of 10 Boxes - $44.55
One Case of 10 Bricks - $39.60

Pricing is the same for both SP and FMJ. I left you some.

Cheers,

George Jr.

Thanks for the contact info George.

I'd like to try some even if it does cost a buck a shot.

I consider it an education expense.

Can't offer an opinion if I've never tried it, eh?

RWS .22 Magnum is the most accurate .22 WRM I have shot in my Volquartsen VG 1 rifle.
When using for hunting small game vs target practice it is a good buy if it is the most accurate in your rifle.
A box can last several seasons.
I stocked up several years ago with a couple of bricks.
