T1X feeding issues

17HMR, if I load the mag full the first couple of rounds will not feed properly. The tip of the bullet does not go high enough to enter the chamber.
Any suggestions?
Are magazines available for sale yet? Might buy a new one and give it a go.

Contacted them last week. After the proper punching of buttons on the phone ended up at the right department. My call went straight to voice mail. Left a detailed message including all of my contact info, issue I am having, serial number, when and where purchased, etc. The recording said I would be contacted. No one got back with me.
So far their warranty service SUCKS.

I guess so. Apparently they are still on vacation because I heard nothing.

Anyone else try to get a Tikka warranted? If you did, how did you go about it?

This is an eye opener. Think I purchased my last Tikka. Can't get ahold of a person. And when you leave a message they don't respond.
Tikka? Try answering the phone and helping your customers.

After contacting the outfit that sold me the rifle, EuroOptics, they contacted Beretta. Received a new mag today and the spring inside had noticeably more tension and this fixed the issue.
Kudos to EuroOptis for taking the time to get involved.

I had in feed problems with my T1X in 22lr. Six different mags purchased in different places - different times. And different ammo - CCI SV, Center X, SK Std+.

The rounds seem to not be pushed high enough, then will be pushed too high and score the nose of the bullet on the top edge of the barrel.

I sent the rifle and mags back to Beretta a couple of weeks ago and it's still waiting for 'inspection'. They said 3-6 weeks, so....

My feeding issues continue after I thought they were fixed. The magazine was loaded with 9 rounds and the rifle sits in a corner until I need it. Yesterday I needed it and the top 2 rounds would not chamber.
The spring in these mags is weak, and until they come out with a much stiffer springs people who actually hunt with these like I do with a full mag will continue to have issues.

Rifle might be good for paper punching but not much good for hunting.

I have 3 magazines that all do the same. I have tried " very dry dummies" to slicked ammo". Nothing consistenty helps, My opinion is the gas are just alittle too wied or the top ramps are a little too short. Anyone know how to tune these plastic magazines?

Odd, the spring in mine is plenty strong, almost too strong IMO.

Yours is a .22 or .17 HMR?

Bought 2 from Beretta back in the summer. After reading all the complaints I thought I should take them out of their bag and check them out. 1 worked great while the other just held 9 rounds.

Mine will hold 10, but it's tight getting the 10th one in. It's happier with nine. Most of my shooting is target work, so it gets single fed 90% of the time. It does feed ok from the mag, though. Not nearly as smooth as my CZ 452, however.

Yes to the feeding issues with the 22 LR magazines. I am waiting for two of them to be returned for feeding issues with rounds 9 and 10.

My suggestion to them was to re-design the magazines so they work properly or in lieu of doing that advertise them as 8 round magazines so that folks do not have the expectation of them being a reliable 10 round magazine.

A great rifle design which functions very well except for the magazine.
