The bull barrel and scoped slab side, I've had for many years. Just wonderful pistols. The slab side with the white grips, I picked up yesterday. Looking forward to shooting it soon. The previous owner also included the thumb rest wood grips, but I thing it looks pretty good in white.

My latest purchase. These are the before pictures. I sent it in for Ruger to refurbish it to like new for me. It has a bunch of hairline scratches and some other dents, dings and other small items that need attention. Not a bad deal for $200 though!

"Bullshort" - originally a fixed-gripped 10109 (22/45) but now with Volquartsen lower and Altamont stippled grips.

Shoots very nicely as well.

Just picked this one up a week or so ago.....looks like it's 1951 production

The Fitz 10-ring grips really make the gun in my opinion.....fit like a glove

This used to be a Mk III 22/45, but the addition of a Volquartsen lower in a "standard" grip angle has somewhat changed that.

Either way, it is superbly accurate for a short-barreled gun, and huge fun to shoot.

Grips are Altamont stippled.

I have the same model (but 1958 production). I agree , the grips look REALLY nice on that old girl! Enjoy your new gun. If it shoots as well as mine, you're going to love it!

Something tells me you aren't done with that.
