I received a brick Friday, weighed them yesterday and tested them today. I culled the 29.5 and 29.8 cartridges of which there were about 50 total.

The 29.6 and 29.7s were consistently under 1/2 inch at 50 yards. I was very pleased.

I'm shooting them out of a CZ 452.

The seem to shoot comparatively well as the Hornady;s at 50 yards from my guns, but my testing has not yet been extensive.

I ordered a brick and had a chance to shoot it at 50 yards against my 17 vmax hornady ammo. My rifle barrel doesn't like it and I was getting 3/4" at 50 yards with the new ammo compared to 1/2" or less with the Hornady.

I'll have to test it out in my other barrel but that wont be until much later.

I have several lot numbers. I have found each 50 round pack that I tried to have some very bad flyers. . I have not found any lots yet that are consistent
I will keep looking for a good lot for my weapons

I'm afraid that is going to be the story for M2 ammo in general. I have an Anschutz 1502. Good squirrel round, but misses too many head shots. After shooting every M2 ammo available, including some older Eley, my 1502 will shoot about 75% in a group the size of a quarter at 50 yds. The rest will wander outside of that circle. Hardly a tack driver. I have two 17HMRs and two .22s that will beat that shooting every time. Sad, but i have lost confidence in the 17M2 round and am beginning to understand why it has mostly failed to capture the market the way 17HMR has and not even close to .22 status. I know, I know; there are some M2 rifles out there that do better than mine, but too many have had my same experience.

I guess I’m one of the lucky ones. My Kimber Classic Varmint will shoot 5 shots into .5” consistently with CCI ammo until the gun gets dirty. Other ammo groups open up to about.75”. Love the rifle and wouldn’t part with it.

Sorry about the funny spelling, don’t know why that happens.
