Scope Picked - What Mounts

Greetings to all.

After much deliberation, budget balancing & forum reading here, have finally decided on scope - Sightron SII 36x-42.

I know, I know, you say get a T36, I wish, Ö. I would, if I could, but I canít - locally not available & from US itís impossible these days.

Annie 54/1809 - 50yd BR, stock fully adjustable therefore I would favour high scope mounts. BKLís look good & more importantly they have very positive reviews..........

Done the google & the math, am I correct in saying that BKL 1" long x 1" high Double Strap (BKL-263H) will clear of barrel.

https://www.optics-trade.eu/en/bkl-1...s-25-4-mm.html

Any other recommended good but cheaper mounts welcome.

BKL double strap rings

Iíve used these rings (30mm) on two of my 22 rifles. Couldnít be happier
with them.
By the way, is wind a major problem where you shoot in Ireland?

I like the Leupold see thru rings. I like them very high. There is no advantage in having 4 screws per ring versus 2, at least not for a .22RF

Me I'd go DIP rail and get medium rings for a 42mm objective. I like Warne rings but just my opinion

I think the T36 is the same size and I used the Burris medium signature zee rings and DIP rail. worked great

scope picked- what mounts

Gday Gizmo60, good choice of scope as the dot is a bit smaller than the weaver.Have a look at the sportsmatch TO4C mounts from JS Ramsbottom on ebay in england.Scott
