Yep, the cost is getting them here. I have notice a lot of the BSA and other British rifle sell cheap there. Be nice to have another importer i was friends with. I miss Thad Scott of Thad Scott Fine Arms. He always done me right on stuff.

I know how it is. I bought my first BSA International from John Appleton. After having so much fun with the rifle, I decided to buy another one. I contacted John and he asked me to wait a few days as he was going in for a routine surgery. We know how that worked out.

Good luck. They are like hen's teeth. Here's a picture so you know what you're looking for:

Be sure to specify the Supersport magazine. BSA also has a line of Sportsman bolt actions, but they use a different magazine.

Is that all they are worth? I bought 4 of them last spring from a former youth instructor. I decided to keep one for myself and sell three to get my money back. All had been neglected and had rust and dings. I paid $500 for the four guns, then mentioned them at the range. In three days time I got $300 each from the remaining three,

Honestly, I did very little. I started with soap and water to remove a generation of dust. Followed with a light coat of Tru Oil on the wood. Then did the penny procedure on the barrel. https://www.outdoorhub.com/how-to/20...using-a-penny/

Looking great. Always love to see something with great potential and an owner that "cares" enough to bring it back to life. The first Century I had I removed all the old paint from the trigger guard and used appliance epoxy gloss black. It lasted until I traded it off. The one I have now needs this done as I noticed the paint on it chipping. I am currently looking for another Century but they are getting hard to find. Keep me updated!

I am fairly certain that I have an orphan stock for one of those.
