No expert for sure..But I would say if the pin diameter is the same as your earlier one..And the frame width is the same as the later style..I would say it has a good chance of working with the late style like mine. I can do some measuring with my calipers if that would help..Can you post a pic of your slide stop?

Have mint 70s that I picked up slim aftermarket grips for to ditch target
Thumb rest version. Be warned you will need to do some intricate dremel work to make those eBay grips fit properly. Go slow or you will be needing to replace the replacement set. Much more comfortable and concealable now.

Spare mags

Carbineone- get ready for some sticker shock on original magazines for the 71 (saw one sell for $225 a couple of years back!!). $70-$90 seems about the average price. They turn up pretty regular on eBay. The Triple K brand work well with a little tweaking. I've modified a few .22 "mystery" mags to work reliably. I have a good stash of original mags but always enjoy finding something else that works. And, YES, photos please! I have a fair amount of rimfire Berettas but not a '59 Jag to reference!

Jaguar slide stop

MajorD-
I've been able to view some detailed pix of a '59 Jaguar online and noted the arrangement you speak of. I do believe a newer style slide stop would work though possiby the 'smontaggio' lever may need to be replaced with a newer one that provides more clearance for the c clip. The Italians at Beretta weren't prone to drastically frivolous changes in their early rimfire line up. Note the simple evolution of the slide stop retention in my earlier post of photos. Hope this helps.

I received the grips today from Ebay..They actually fit very nice on my 70S..Definitely no dremel work needed..I did have to do a slight bit of sanding on the bottom where they came together at the splice in front of the mag well...A few minute job was all, no big deal.. The bottom had just a wee bit of overlap on one at the seem..Very happy with them, really nice improvement over the plastic..Here is a pic of them installed..Thanks

For those of you looking for Mags for the 70 series, Liberty Tree sold a bunch of OEM surplus mags last fall for $42 each. I have found the mags to be interchangeable from the late 1950's to the present.

CArbine one try outback gun parts. I bought a couple from them a few yearsago, about $50 each.

Also the aftermarket triple k do work just fine ( one of the few triple k products that is actually decent)
