Is the bolt handle knob threaded on? If so, do you know of anyone that makes knobs?
Does any one make a wide flat attachment to the fore end for bench rest or is this a DIY project Thank you in advance.

CZ 457 Varmint questions

Thank you for your reply. Nice rifle and shooting. Where did you purchase your bolt handle knob? How did you attach the flat plate? How wide is the plate and did it help with the cant issue?

The plates about 3 1/2 “ wide, it’s just screwed in, and I added a slider plate out of UHMW, to my rest, and yes I like it, keeps it lvl and it’s one thing I don’t have to worry about when I’m sqeezing a shot off,

I made my bolt knob also, but if I remember right, area 419 and DIP both make a aftermarket bolt knob.
Good luck,
PJ

Regarding the bolt knob... there are several makers. Try a Google search. EBay and Amazon sell these too. The Bergara B14R knobs also fit the CZ- they are interchangable- both with a M6-1 thread.

+1 on the knob that fits the Bergara. ~$22 on the Bay. Nice knob in size and feel. Knurled to help keep it from slipping off or out of your fingers. Put one on each of my 457s. Definitely an improvement over the factory knob. I had an order in with DIP for their "Executive" model handle since 1/1/21. Still out of stock. The Bergara knob is as good IMHO. YMMV.
