Finally got my baby in. Wanting to get this rifle built for a year and finally took da plunge! way to windy to try to try to put up any groups, but i managed to pluck .38 special caseings and quarters off at the range all day from 50yrds. not bad for 10-20mph winds all day. Must have shot 50-60 .38 shells, what a blast. Very happy with my new BV, shoots lazer beams right out of the box. This makes the 4th stevens/savage in my collection. Stevens 325 30/30, Stevens 107B 16 gauge, Stevens model 15 .22, and my new savage MKII-BV

Hi Bobby,
Congratulations, sure it looks like a keeper! I see you have managed to have some real fun on the range...;-)

Thanks for all the kind words all!

Its a CenterPoint 4-16x40mm, Mil dot reticle, red&green ilumination, turrets can be reset to zero with an alan key. Also picked up a 3" sunshade to reduce glare.

Got it at wallyworld for $69, and its worth every penny. Best .22 scope i ever owned. Can be a little fuzzy at full zoom without the shade though.

That's nice! And looks like you got the very latest version too. With the longer receiver and no step in the barrel. I really like it and it's obviously a shooter. Congrats!

Great looking rifle. I just picked up a new MarkII BV Thursday. Now I just need to get a scope ordered up for mine.
