I have noticed that with all things that Tucson has to do . I have found that I am very set in my ways. I have certain place I go but never explorer it unless I have visitors. In the last few weeks I have been trying to change that.

Is there a tourist spot that everyone else has been to but you.

I live close to Pendleton, Oregon. I have never been to the Pendleton Roundup, I don't like crowds and quit drinking almost forty years ago. There seems to be quite a bit of both there.

And it's closed till they find new people to take it over. Are you still in Tucson?

In Nola - I rarely go certain places unless an out of towner instigates it. I dread it a bit beforehand but then enjoy the outing.

D2 spent 3 months in St Petersburg, Russia. One thing it did was maker her appreciate our local culture even more.

The Pinnacles National Park in California. I must have passed by the turnoff a 100 times over the last 45 years. Finally went a few weeks ago and enjoyed it.

A man on a mission. If there's not a good reason to go, I don't go. For tourism, I might go half way around the world. To see something downtown or in the middle of nowhere, no way.

Drove across the country for bicycle races and saw many good things on the way. Went to Spain for a degree and took in many places while in Europe. Lived in San Antonio for work and loved it way back when.

it doesnt bother me if i dont see it all since i know i cant for whatever reason. I dont worry about things like that.

I lived in Albuquerque 3 years and never saw the Grand canyon. Live in Durango Colorado 21 years and still haven't seen it. We spend more time at Mesa Verde, Chaco Canyon, Aztec and Delores now.

I live seven miles from this place:

But I never go, for several reasons:
  1. I don't play golf.
  2. It's really expensive to stay or eat there.
  3. I worked there when I was in college, so I'm kind of blasť about it.
Still, it's the first place that comes to mind when I have out-of-town visitors -- but I haven't had any of those in several years.
