The Last on the Mohicans, the whole hunting scene just got my blood flowing. I felt like I was part of it. For me it blew any Bond opening there ever was away.Even today when I rewatch it I get the same effect.

Thanks for that.

Last year I was hunting with friends during black powder season and my buddy got his first shot ever at a deer not using a CF. He missed.

Just sent him the clip from YT and texted "See how easy it is?"

Can't think of an opening scene ... Would you settle for a closing scene?

Oh, my....there are so many. And the opening scene(s) set the whole story up, and the tone of the film.

I'd have to say "Top Gun"....just the first two or three minutes. Flight deck ops, thought of as an orchestra of motion. A small, but significant tribute to the men (and women, now), that have the most dangerous job(s) on a carrier.

Just my opine.....Roger

Iíll take closing scenes for $200 Alex - North By Northwest because old Alfred loved putting a visual double entendre in his movies.

Breakfast at Tiffanyís . Audrey Hepburn on 5th Avenue eating a croissant and coffee. Iíve looked through that same window many times . Although Tiffanyís moved to a new location around the corner recently. The old store was classic.
