Hey Guys, this really is a good deal for someone looking for a German springer $149.99.

I would snap this up in a second if it were in .22 or .25, but I don't need, or for that matter want, something with so much power in a .177.

I already have the Terrus in .177 and that is perfect for me, and has been a great gun. I can vouch that these are quality made by Walther in Germany.

Anyway, went through the checkout just to make sure they had them; shipping wasn't bad. I just can't pull the trigger, just picked up a Hatsan in .22 last week.

Parrus and Terrus

I got a Terrus with black synthetic stock in .22. Excellent rifle in every way. Very accurate, German precision made, decent power. Then I got its big brother, the Parrus, also in .22. What a beast! I am 6 ft 5 and it is the biggest gun I ever owned. But it has serious power, maybe a little more than the Webley Patriot or RWS 350 I used to have. I keep it with open sights for hunting. Sudden death on possums raiding the back porch. Best magnum air rifle for the money, IMO.

Hey Tallguy, tnx for the response.

yeah, I really like the Terrus, mine is the .177 which is fine. Velocity wise it is in the range of the HW95; which I would love to make my next purchase. They're not easy to find, and I'm in no hurry, so that's on a wish list.

In any case, I got a super deal on the Terrus wood stock for $150. I really wish I had bought two. I am glad I spent 3K rounds on a cheap Umerex springer before I got the Terrus so I could really appreciate it. On the other hand I think it was just Walther dipping it's toe in the entry springer market. I understand they're not even selling airguns in the US anymore, save this one Parrus.

As I said, if this were a .22 I would have snatched it.

I have one I bought a year ago and it shoots great! I use the Crosman 10.5 gr Ultra Magnum pellets and it is very accurate and deadly on small critters like rats at 50 yards and under. Very easy to do head shots with it at that distance. Cocking effort really eases up after the first 100 shots as well.
