Need suggestions for recoil pad

Log in to see fewer ads
Hi Folks,
I need about and inch or so length on my Ruger deluxe walnut stock. What recoil pad fits this stock. Slip on or grind to fit? Kick-Eez, Pachmayer?
What do you recommend?

Thanks.

You might try a Limb Saver https://www.amazon.com/gp/slredirect...getName=sp_atf

Or one of these https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-handm...%2C208&sr=8-47

Literally 100 s of choices at Amazon.

Yeah, there are a lot of options. Just wondered if there were "10-22 specific" ways to gain an inch.
I decided to get a slip-on Limbsaver and try it out for a while to see if I wanted to install anything more permanent.
Thanks for the links.

Hogue, grind to fit recoil pads. Three sizes, two colors. Less than $30.
I also use this pad on my 10/22 stocks,

Early Larry Jennings stocks used flip flops. Seriously. Stack several together with industrial contact cement for the correct LOP. Might even have been Dollar Store specials.

tacbro has a rubber pad that is designed for the mini-14 or 10/22. i decided to try it and it not only fit like a glove but looks great. adds a solid inch. ordered it from amazon for 20 bucks.

Thanks guys, reading this post , made me laugh. Sometimes, you need to think outside the box. I believe it’s called “redneck engineering”
