When I inquired about the lack of inventory, Ruger replied “around mid-March”
I sure hope they start shipping them soon.

I bought a BX-Trigger from Ruger because no one else had any. They didn't say that they were back ordered, but it did take a bit over a week to get it from Ruger. That was around the end of last month.

Maybe slightly off-topic, but when I installed a BX trigger in my girlfriend's 10/22 Compact (synthetic stock), I noticed that there is slight side-to-side play of the whole trigger assembly. Not enough to affect functioning, but noticeable. Did I do something wrong? Leave out a washer somewhere? Or is this normal?

I found it pretty easy -- pop out, pop in. But as I said, maybe I did something wrong, because the fit is a little wiggly. The thing works fine, though, and it's a big improvement over the stock trigger.

I have stock 10/22ís that I use for squirrel hunting and believe me by putting the BX trigger in my guns have greatly improved my shot accuracy. 50 yards I can keep a sub one inch groups all day long.

Thanks. Hmm ... I wonder it it has anything to do with it being a Compact stock -- maybe slightly different dimensions?

Nope same inletting as any other 10/22 pattern rifle. (or it should be)
