your comments is totally ridicules- Remington book covers all models + calibers of 40X , 700 , 721 , 722 + all models produced by Remington at time of printing - look up component part number + it has charts with dimensions for screws , bolts , pins + springs - your statement that manufacturer does not have specs for previous + current models is in error + lacking common sense - statements should always be based on accurate documented facts + not abstract opinions -

Your documents show me it is a 40X 22LR. It says nothing about the other models. You sure do have this compulsive obsessive desire to be right don't you.

If you can wait a week I will be back at my retirement home and can find one that will fit your gun and mail it to you.

going back to your original [ statement that there is no standard length screw ] - majority of people on these forum are cognizant of 40X action variations - still does not change the fact that there are published facts for parts dimensions - my compulsion is to post accurate info + not make definitive statements that are not true - the specs i stated are only negligible- .057 different then OP measurements -

gotcha. For some reason I was thinking you needed a longer one. So 1.162 is the length. You need a straight one. I will let you know next week what I have.

I'm back at the retirement home. I have two options for you. I have a hex key head that is 1.610 and a slotted head that is 1.630. Take your pick.

OK I messed up on the demension. I have a hex key head one that is 1.190. Will that work? You can use a grinder or a file and make it to length.
