Anyone drilled/tapped a BL22 receiver?

Hi folks,
Keen to fit a Skinner rail with peepsight to my BL22 and was interested to see if anyone had anything similar done.
I know there's not much meat in these receivers but they are pain in the %%% to scope.
The Skinner rail with integrated peep would be a great option to let me run either/or without losing zero.
I know Skinner also do a specific rimfire mount and some may consider it a crime to scope the diminutive BL and fuggly but it'll be functional.
Got the same rail on the Marlin 1895 and love the versatility.
Cheers,

I have one that was previously tapped for a Williams peep sight. But i did not tap it myself. Looks good and works well. Never seen the Skinner rail as of yet. I have seen the XS sight rail on Marlins, I own one with that rail. But not sure on a BL-22

Thanks for your reply jstanfield103.
What kind of front sight did you run with the Williams?
I already have a Skinner front blade ready to file down to size (as originally I was considering fitting a low-pro rear which I have spare) but I'm considering getting a Lyman 17 front globe to go with whatever rear I go with (New England Custom Guns do a beautiful 22 peepsight as well).
That would allow me to take part in the open sight only 22 comps at my local club.
Still have my heart set on a rail to allow me to have the best of both worlds though.
Cheers,
Duffer

I went this route...

No drilling/tapping; easily removed....more options than Skinner.
