Where is the sticky listing for after market 10/22 barrels? Already know about the Kidd, Lilja, VQ, GM, Feddersen, Clark, Shilen, just to name a few that make (or did make) barrels. I am not aware of them all, perhaps some of the members could help with a list, and perhaps up to date prices. Might also help to also list the cleaning procedures from the barrel maker, type of brush or no brush, or solvent recommended. Inquiring minds want to know. AH

Thanks for the link on the Majestic Arms barrel. There may be some barrels not listed, but working as a team we will do our best to list them all. Has anyone here at RFC posted a review on one of these? If I find a review, I will edit this post and link to it. ..... AH

This site no longer offers 10/22 barrels at this time......... AH

hey folks - i'm just a plinker and new to 10/22s, but have developed a fondness for the Takedown and the Charger Takedown in particular... my needs are simple, but I wanted a bit lighter barrel with a silver color a bonus...

so i went with a WhistlePig 10" Acculite:

the thing is: not too many folks seem to make Takedown barrels (extra machining?), especially shorter ones (6", 10", 12")... i'm pretty happy with the results, as i'm only going out to 25 yards:

Proof Research 10/22 barrels

Proof Research 10/22 Barrels. Yep, I've been on the phone again. I did talk to a secretary, and told me that they are made in-house, and do not come with a thread protector other that a plastic protector for shipping. I really need to call back and talk to Nathan, the tech guy. He was out of pocket, I will call back at a later date. Will hope to find out about accuracy guarantee, and process for bore rifling, type of steel, etc. For sure they make carbon fiber barrels, will also ask about stainless. The person I talked to wasn't aware of any dealing with PWS, but will find out for sure when I can talk to the tech. 10/22 barrels currently advertised at Stocky's:

Website for Proof Research:

I will add to this as information becomes available....... AH

Glad we could help. I updated the info last month, and haven't done a search as of yet for new / different 10/22 barrels available at this time. That is next on the bucket list. :t If you have found a new offering, post in this thread and I will make a call and try to get some information. ....... Thanks...... AH

IBI 10/22 Barrels

Interesting 10/22 barrel offering(s) from Canada. Offered in stainless steel and for you carbon barrel fans, they have that too. Both types are offered in 16" or 20" lengths, the threaded muzzle option is available for both. The SS is offered in fluted or non fluted as well. There is not an accuracy guarantee on the site, but a thirty day return is offered if you are not happy. If there are any reviews on these 10/22 drop in barrels, my google foo won't pick it up. I found other drop-in IBI .22 barrels reviewed, no 10/22s. Priced with known "elite" 10/22 barrels. Any members have one?

Wiland Barrels

Yep, this one got by me. The Wiland barrels (Summerville, SC), don't have an accuracy guarantee that I can find, but do offer lightweight barrels for those who need speed in some disciplines of sport shooting or just want something lighter to carry while hunting. They do offer stainless steel 10/22 barrels as well. Just go to home page and click on "barrels".

Briley Barrels

This is an "Ultra Lightweight" offering, threaded (Houston Tx). Tapered and fluted, this 16.5" barrel fighting weight is 10 oz. with a proprietary, hand cut chamber & crown. I would be interested to see a 50 yard target and review on this one. Also click on the "Barrels and Compensators", and you will find more barrel offerings from Azimuth and Whistle Pig.

Summit Precision 10/22 Barrels

Late to the party on this one. If you like some "Bling" and enjoy hitting what you're aiming at, you are not alone! This site has some beauties for sale, and two length options (for now) as well. Carbon fiber barrels in several colors, and a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee.

There is a thread here at RFC with reviews and pics of targets from owners of the Summit 10/22 barrels.
