What would the nominal cost of a box of Eley compared to the CCI / Hornady be?

I would like to try some Eley but if the accuracy is only a fraction better, I will just stick with the cheaper stuff.

It’s worth it’s weight in gold in my opinion. Eley is made to a higher standard. The cost per round isn’t too bad but you won’t find me poking holes in tin cans with it. I get a meal per round if I do my part.

Email sent. This is the only thing that is going to get them to even think about producing 17hm2 ammunition again.

I would pay 10-12 bucks a box for it. Assuming it shoots like the old stuff does, which is not going to win you any matches, but is incredibly consistent ammo. Much better than the CCI/Hornady varieties. Although, some of the Hornady will group well, than get an ugly flyer.

Pretty close. Manufactured for Remy, by Eley. It has a good track record with most who shot it.

All of my Eley ammo is Remington/ Eley. I never could really tell the difference between Eley and Remington ammo.

Eley 17hm2

I have about 6 bricks of Eley and 3 bricks of Remington/Eley left...I pretty much use that for hunting tree squirrels and my Hornady for plinking.. and a occasional varmint ....Maybe well get lucky and Eley will start making this round again....Im not gonna hold my breath...One company that surprises me...Aquila...Id think they would jump on making this round....more and more rimfire hunters seem to be taking a look at this round lately.....I have 5 of these HM2 rifles...CZ and Savage..

I had sent an email to Eley requesting that they put the .17HM2 back into production and received the following reply. At least they are listening.

"Thank you so much for sharing your desire for ELEY to resume the manufacturing of 17HM2. I agree, it would be awesome to crank out some more.
Ill share your thoughts.
Best regards,

I received a reply from Michele at Eley also. She just might push this just so she doesn't have to reply to all of our request.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for reaching out with your thoughts on ELEY HM2 ammunition. Im in total agreement with you, that is a GREAT ammunition and we do it better than anyone else.

Hearing from folks like you (and your friends &#128521 gives me feedback to share with the decision makers. You can be certain I will forward your thoughts.
