If I ordered a new CZ AMERICAN in 22 HORNET today, would it have the flush fit magazine and modified bolt handle? No dealer near me.
thanks

527 Hornet

No such product currently shown on the CZ USA web page. The only ones I have seen were after-market modifications. I am not aware that CZ offers the 527 with a flush fit magazine. Am I behind the information curve?

As far as I know that model was called M1 and was only available in .223. I think all new 527s come with the new style bolt handle.

Well inquiring minds want to know. I am familiar with the M1 and the flush fit mag, but have not bought a 527 is several years. So what is the difference with the new style bolt handles? For added scope clearance I would guess.

Yes the new style bolt handle gives about an extra 1/8" of clearance on the scopes ocular.

Varmint22man sir your 527 American in 22 Hornet will NOT have a flush magazine and the bolt will probably have the new lower style...but it all depends on when the rifle was made...here is a picture of the two different styles of bolts. The one on the left is the old style and the newer lower one is on the right.

Edit: here is a picture of the magazine on a 527:

That. Also reduced magazine capacity. Then again one or two shots is sufficient for most.

There are parties that will trim you magazine flush. John Calhoon might be one. I will see what I can find.
I have a CZ in 22 Hornet . I use a single shot adapter. I do not f el handicapped for a second shot. I think having one shot makes my first shot better.
