'bout time you scored a 100, Allen. We all knew it was gonna happen, just a matter of "when."

Very nice and very impressive. Congrats.

The 49 bull @ 50 yds. is also impressive.

Thanks! I actually got my first 100 in October but I appreciate the sentiment. I'm pretty sure the 49-4X was a bit of a lucky run, but it's nice when those bits of good luck get strung together.

No, what I meant was if they saw how little time my sights stay centered on the target, they would run screaming through the woods

25 Yard Iron Sight Practice 1/8/2019
Scores: 473-11X
467-10X
467-8X
Name: 72coupe/Roy Woodman/72
Location: Wichita Falls, Tx
Gun: Ruger Precision Rimfire Rifle
Set up: Aperture sights
Ammo: Good ole Federal Automatch the kind you buy at Walmart
Notes: It was a very pleasant day here except for an 18 mph wind that seemed like more. I was seeing the target and the sights well. All of my failures were in trigger pull and follow through. I am going to save the 473 target in case I need it for an entry.

Low 40s, light wind, heavy mud going to and from the target. Every thing was going left except when I held right, then it went further right. Still learning this rifle.

***********25 YD SCOPE ********** 12/11/19

SCORE:469-14-X
NAME-Purple Bikerr (60)
LOCATION: Blue River Gun Club
GUN: CZ 452 FS (#1)
GUN SETUP: __x__Scope ___Irons ___Sling
AMMO: Aguila HV Solids
INDIV TGTS SCORES: 93-3x...95-3x...94-3x...95-3x...92-2x

A brisk 14* here today, with winds 10-15 full value. Pinky's got a 'lil cold, even with gloves on. I had to retreat to the truck, twice, to warm them up.

I did shoot 2 sets. My other score was a 462.

The (#1) designation is so I can keep track which FS I used. I have 3 of them!!

I believe that 14x is a personal best, could be wrong. But I am very happy about getting 14 X's, even if it isn't a PB.

That's 28% perfect shots out of 50. Hard to argue with that!

*** 25 Yd Scoped Practice **** 12/11/19
SCORE: 474-13x
NAME: Eric2U, 62
LOCATION: Bayou Rifles, Houston
GUN: 1712
GUN SETUP: _x_Scope __Iron sights (magnification at about 17x)
AMMO: RWS SSHP
INDIV targets: 93-2x, 94, 95-4x, 96-2x, 96-5x

COMMENT: I was pretty happy with this target, but I think a 469 in 14deg w/ 10-15 mph winds trumps a 474 at 60deg. Good shooting Purple Bikerr - I can't imagine going out to shoot in those conditions.

Yes Purple Bikeer, that is dedication for sure and great shooting in bad conditions. What I'm wondering most is if your X count increases the colder it gets...HA!

Ind targets 76 2x (8 shots), 77 2x (8 shots), 83 (9 shots), 84 (9 shots), 74 2x (8 shots), 73 2x (8 shots).

First time shooting this target and distance. 9.34 average. Next time I'll use more than 6 bulls. A couple bulls were really hard to score. Guess that's a good thing.

Mid 50's. Sunny. Light wind straight up the range.

MManning, WELCOME to the match ! We are very glad to have you shooting with us

You have a good start with those scores, keep up the good work !

One note, as the rules state we shoot 5 bulls for all matches.

25 Yd matches are 5 bulls, 10 shots each
50 Yd matches are 5 bulls, 5 shots each
Small detail, but we try to keep everyone doing the same thing so we are all shooting the same match, keeps the competition running smoothly.

All the best,
Bob4BVM

You're right Jay, sorry about that !
I saw it but somehow missed copying your post.
It is fixed now, scoreboard is updated, could not let that go especially since it puts you in 1st place for the Nov Irons match !
So you beat Roy out of it by One Point !

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let me take this opportunity to again remind everyone of the standard format we use for entries...
The closer it looks to this, the easier/faster it is for me to compile the scoreboards, and the less likely I am to make mistakes.
If your entry looks EXACTLY LIKE THIS, I can use my excel auto-macros to automatically place your data onto the scoreboards. ANY variations, and I have to do it by hand.
Not to be picky, just want to let all know what works best for me with fewest mistakes on my part.
Of course I will continue to do a full search of the month's posts in order to find your best entries each month, even if they don't look like this, I figure if you are making the effort to shoot this match, I will do all I can to get you onto the scoreboards !
Here is an example of the standard entry-post format:
**** 25 Yd SCOPED **** 11/2/19
SCORE: 472-14X
NAME: Bob4BVM, 70
LOCATION: Oregon
GUN: Kimber 82G #2
SIGHTS: Scope @ 32x
AMMO: Agu.SESV
INDIV TGTS SCORES: 96-3X, 95-2X, 92-3X, 94-3X, 95-3X
All the best,
Bob4BVM
