Walmart 9mm & 45 acp ammo closeout

And a lot more. Walmart announced a couple months back they will discontinue sales of certain 'evil' ammo. Ammo such as 9mm, 45 acp and 223. That lead to a run on the stores and it was all gone in 2 days.

Somehow, the stores have all restocked and there is another stampede. I guess these are typical old walmart ammo prices. But; as a for instance they had Federal 9mm $9 per 100. That is $4.50 a box. Federal 45acp aluminum case works out to $7.50 a box when purchased 100 or 200 rounds bulk. The brass case is a very little more. I dont like Winchester. Even off hand I call see the difference. They probably have that too. Or had, it is going fast.

The clerk did explain that what ever does not sell (forget the date it is soon) will be returned to vendor. I guess walmart is cleaning out the warehouses around the country. I guess(?) even if a local store if out again, a person might confirm or ask if more is expected. One way or another this is the end of it. If you missed out last time, you may get another crack at it. You can also check inventory online. I chose the best stocked walmart and by time I got there was only about 1/4 of what the computer showed. Clerk said people been buying like crazy all day!

Yeah, I keep my gun safe locked so those evil guns of mine can't get out and do something bad!

Thank for us as well. I stopped shopping there when they began 'carding me' for ammunition purchases. (Maybe I should be flattered - I think I look over 21 years old ). But those are very good prices if can be found. Appreciate the notice.

There is a big sale at Gander Outdoor , the other side of Gander RV.
Ammo and electronic`s 25% off Guns I don`t, but everything else is 50%.

At least in my neck of the woods. I guess the Gander Outdoor part of the business is going out of business.

In my opinion, any money not spent at Walmart is money well spent or well saved.

I was in Walmart yesterday. The only pistol ammo still available was 380 acp at $7 a box and I bought a bunch. I'm perfectly willing to take advantage of dumb corporate decisions.

I was in WM last week, and they still had plenty - including .32 ACP for $25/50!

I was in another Walmart today and they were at full price. So; not all stores are handling the pricing the same. I was told, Jan 1st, the party is over. No matter what, evil ammo sales end Jan 1. Then, I have been told a lot of things in various Walmarts. We will see.

Walmart was empty of all 9mm and most of their other discontinued ammo this a.m..
Our GanderOD already went mammaries up last month, Nov. 2019, which means there are no brick & mortar stores of most pistol and evil black rifle ammunitions in my town anymore. Whew! I feel so much safer now.

Went to local Walmart based on this topic. All ammo was not closed out but priced higher than mentioned here. Bummed me out a bit but I have enough for now. Of course, never was a "gun" store. Only pellet rifles.

Clerk told me all WM stores were marked down 40%. Maybe the memo hasn't arrived yet? Hopefully?

I am not allowed to buy in Walmart because I just have a California DL and it's not a "real id". I'm not going to bend over backwards to bring in my birth certificate. Otherwise I would be taking advantage of close out pricing too.
