What did you expect???? You guys are buying it by the truckloads, so why not??

Even still, it's hard to imagine a brick is selling for half the price of SK Std+, even when the SK is on sale, coupons, and AJ. Plus, the Aguila appears to be shooting better than the SK, at this time. If I didn't have 6-8 years supply, I would have bought more, but I just don't need it. I figure I'll be approaching 80 by the time I need more 22lr.

I shot last evening & was hitting 2"x2" steel about 1/2 the time & 3"x3" about 2 out of 3 at 300 yards. I'm looking at cheap solar lights so I can shoot just after dark when it calms down most of the time. I'm buying this from Brownells 100-030-858WB

Unbelievable. Calamity and I are probably going shooting this Thursday as it's starting to cool down here in NV. I'm still moving ammo around and updating my spreadsheet and hopefully taking out the rifles we plan on using and giving them a look see. These will be the ones we brought back with us from FL about 5 weeks ago. They were all completely cleaned before we left, but they still have their silicon traveling sock on them. I ran across four boxes of 50 of the Aguila SV that I must have bought three years ago. Thought I'd take one with me and relook at it. Won't be shooting my 452 but probably my Ruger LV 1235 that is a real shooter. Just a few Kidd internals, spring, spring rod, bolt buffer, nothing fancy. My Brownell's is due Friday, so maybe next week I'll get my 452 or 453 American out of hibernation.

Watch out for the critters at night, esp. in your area.

With todays $10 off $75+ orders, buying 4 brings and using AJ ($3 back), the four come in at $17.75 a brick delivered. Unbelievable.

Have you got a code for that, I didn't get it.

Sorry, I forgot to post it. JDC.

Most codes, not all as some are emailed, can be found at one of these sites.

Did my usual routine this morning, check various sites, and noticed that AJ is giving 7% at Brownell's today. So I went to Brownell's and saw a bunch of little yellow flags with numbers on them. These are coupon numbers to be added to see/receive sale prices. For example, the CCI sv is back to $24.99 but when added to your cart and entering the coupon number 3419, the price drops to $21.99, which was the sale price the past few days.

So, I figured the $10/$75+ code, JDC, wouldn't work. Wrong again. They also stack. I tried to put a couple different items with yellow flags and use the codes, but they didn't stack. Have to place one order at a time, I guess.

Have a great Sunday.

PS: Using the above info, 4 bricks of CCI SV's come to you for $18.14 a brick using AJ today.

It was, then it went back to 4%. Received another email this morning that it went back to 7%.

Lately, Brownell's has been having some "new" sales on Sunday. Haven't seen any "new" listings though.

For you 9 mm shooters, 1K of Win 124 gr in a metal can can be had for $172 delivered using codes and AJ.

That Aguila is still up at $21, but it might go back to $20 again ($19.99). Received my 5 bricks yesterday in perfect condition, as usual. Have to shoot a few sometime this week.

Brownell's has a 10% off $100+ order, today only. AJ is still 7% so those on sale items are l ooking even better today. Code is NDX and as I mentioned, today only.

I'm trying to decide what to stock up on should another shortage occur like it did a couple of years ago. Seems most of my guns will shoot CCI Standard velocity and Blazer 22lr pretty good. Currently both are pretty inexpensive. I would prefer CCI mini-mags but the price is preventative for the amount of ammo I would like to store.

I'm thinking CCI SV and Blazer and buy the mini-mags as I need them.

Right now, the 40 gr mini's will run you $26.16 a brick delivered with code and AJ. That's really 5 slides for a comparison.

That's not too much more than the CCI SV's. I'd do a bit of both if you can afford it. $5.23 for a 40 gr slide of mini's is pretty fair.

AJ is Active Junky. A cash back outfit that right now, when you go through them to Brownell's they will give you 7% cash back on your purchase. They only pay 4 times a year so you'll have to wait a bit. It's mentioned quite a bit here.

If you are new to AJ, beware that when you make your first $25 purchase going through their site, you get an additional $10 back and so does your friend if you use your friend's link to sign up. It's a one time deal. Use my link (below) or one of your buddies' link, but use someone's if you haven't joined yet. It's free money.
