1913 benchrest rifle with walnut stock

This seems to be out of stock at all the online vendors. Does anyone know why it's unavailable or where it might be available? I did notice that Champions Choice has the 1913 U2 barreled action in stock, and Champion Shooters has the walnut benchrest stock available for the rounded actions like the 1913. Perhaps those desiring this rifle and stock combination will need to assemble their own rifle from these two vendors.

Cordially,
Blanco

The stock comes with the screws and the trigger guard, but I appreciate your input. As for the big bucks, you got that right.

Thanks for the lead. I'll check it out when I get a chance. I know he doesn't list it on his online inventory, but then he still might have one. He does appear to have good prices on his rifles.

It's just my opinion, but I think the reason that particular configuration is hard to come by is because a custom bench gun in a synthetic stock can be had for about the same cost.

That said, I like them too.

Not sure why you want the factory benchrest stock. There are many better models on the market. I have one of the factory 2013 BR stocks laying in the closet. You could get the round action adapter to go in one of them.

Or, just fill it up with bedding material. it needs bedding anyway. Best bet, buy a Stith BR stock and have one of the best for bench work, and save alot of $,!!!
