How often do I carry..

I'm one of those in the "Seldom" group.
I have a Ruger LCP .380 w/laser sight loaded with Lehigh Xtreme Penetrator rounds as my carry gun when I do. I generally keep it in the center console of my car.
It's not a "cannon", but it would ruin your day.

Anytime I'm dressed. I was a CHL instructor for DPS and I used to say that the gun at home is of no use to you. After eight years I finally started following my own advice.

24/7 as I sleep in a recliner. From a NAA with a laser & stingers to a 10mm Glock & several in between depending on what I'm wearing & going. The NAA looks like a knife handle clipped in my pocket & 1 shot would change someones mind which is the best thing to do anyway.

As long as it is legal, I'm carrying. Only exception is if I visit someone's house. I don't feel right about carrying into another person's house, unless I am 110% certain that they are okay with it.
Kimber Raptor Ultra II with one spare mag.

Every time I walk out my front door. After all, if I knew where I was going to be when I needed it, I wouldn't go there! It's always better to have and not need than to need and not have.

Generally speaking, if my eyes are open, I'm carrying.

Everywhere I legally can, every day.

If I have a belt around my waist and outside my house, I'm carrying.

Texas is an open-carry state, but I don't open carry. I'd rather not get knocked in the back of the head (or worse) by a thief.

Glock 42, Tritium Sights, Pierce Finger Extension in a DeSantis Superfly Pocket Holster.

I might pickup the new SIG P365 as my EDC, but I gotta get a good look at it first.

Carry.

When a friend is home, where ever he sits in the house, there is a gun within arm's reach. I am guessing he carries at all times.

Most always, around the farm there's a Ruger .45 Blackhawk hanging in a custom made scabbard on the tractor, 10MM Glock in a Galco on me ALL the time, like Sophia, I walk right past the signs, never been asked to leave, that's why it's called CONCEALED CARRY. There's a penalty for "flashing" folks, so avoid it !
Honestly, I carried concealed (same Glock & holster) BEFORE IL had carry, so the concealed part comes easy Actually, about 20 YEARS before..last man out of the gun shop at night don't NEVER go nekkid !

uncle albert

ps: light days, it's a Glock .40 !

Never. Although I can, I've never carried.

I have to visit those places as well and that is when the .380 gets replaced with 9mm or .45. Always extra mags as well. Armed in church, armed in school....what a shame....but there are armed members here too in churches. Designated security but not known to the congregation. 1917

Carried since I was 18. Have a lifetime permit and live in a state where "gun free zone" has no legal weight. My local sheriff is an avid supporter of the 2nd amendment. All CCW and ATF paperwork is signed off on without prejudice as far as the local level.

My daily carry is a full size M&P 9 in a Greenforce Tactical kydex IWB and a Shield 9 in a Galco ankle glove. One spare mag for each and a knife with 4" blade. The two guns is not from paranoia but it gives me the opportunity to arm someone else that may be with me

I'm curious - why would there be hate PMs? I have never carried, never plan on it, but that's just me. If someone wants to carry, I support that quite happily. No hate involved.

i carry a glock 26 all day, every day
60% of people i know who have a permit do not carry on a regular basis. 20% carry all the time, and the remaining 20% are somewhere in between
my answer to anyone who asks why i carry is simply... i dont often go anywhere where i think i will need it or use it. there is a .000001% chance i will ever use it. but i also know that i have a permit and much more training than the average handgun owner, and the gun is doing me no good at home in the safe.
