Thanks

That picture was taken yesterday in one of our local parks.. a dog park, no less.
There's 3 swimming areas for dogs (no owners allowed). As a rule the dogs leave the wildlife alone

Some nice shooting, gentlemen.. very nice!

I'm waiting on parts for my iron sight project. With any luck, maybe Monday will see them here.

It's been an odd month here too Řystein. We had snow early in the month, yesterday was 28°C, and today never got above 12°C.

I shot the air rifle for a bit late this afternoon, the wind dropped off quite a bit.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product Sean. Your machine work so far looks promising.

It should be an interesting rifle, Jack.

I picked up a few more bits and pieces yesterday.

A friend loaned me the tools to make clear front apertures, similar to Slimline or the Anschutz ones I've seen. I've never liked the steel inserts, the frame is distracting to me.

Canada Post is supposed to deliver the thread protector today. With any luck, they will. If that's the case, barring any assembly issues I should have it done in a few days. At least enough to try. Fine tuning of sight height may take a bit longer.

I want to be able to get at least 20 and 100 yd zeros within the adjustment range of the rear sight, 200 yds or more would be a bonus.
