I was at a pawn shop. I was looking for a another 22 a older one. They had 500 ct box ( 10 boxes in one). I paid 100.00 plus tax. I asked if that was the right price he said yes. I bought them. They look just like a Winchester 40 gr hp. Has anyone shot any of the fiocchi 22 mag 40gr hp?
I believe some of the Fiochii is rebranded aguila too. I believe you'll find they have other ammo makers put their name on promotional ammo. Only the high end Fiochii match ammo seems to be made in Italy anymore.
I've shot a lot of 40gr Fiocchi TMJ, JHP and JSP from several handguns (Heritage Rough Rider 6.5" & Taurus 942M 3" revolvers, RIA 1911 XT-22M semiauto) and long guns (Ruger American Rimfire bolt action, CZ512 semiauto). Fiocchi ammo always goes BANG.
Since these are 22 mags you actually got a "deal" for sure. A lot of places are getting $10/50 for 22 LR with the shortage on.
