I have to say I'm pretty impressed. The hollow grind blade is just as good as my much more expensive Paramilitary 2. The G-10 handle has plenty of grip and the knives is lightweight for having decent size. Definitely would recommend for someone looking for a good EDC without breaking the bank.
By far my fav of the less expensive Spydercos. A year ago I suggested to Sal that they bring out a Tenacious in a better steel, and now they are (S35VN).

Not the greatest steel, but much better than the normal old stainless.

The Tenacious is rock solid, the perfect size for EDC and has the wonderful liner-lock action. I carry a Manix2, for its light weight, super-premium steels and fast one-hand operation, but the Tenacious is a close second.

As much as I like the G10 & Titanium models I seem to carry the FRN/FRCP LW models more than anything. Manix 2 LW is one of my favorites. My latest is the new SPY27 version. I carried at work yesterday

At this point, only the new Tenacious LW is being offered with S35VN. The G10 models are still 8Cr13MoV. Using S35VN in the LW models is a huge upgrade IMO. I consider it a premium steel and have it in several knives including Spyderco, ZT and a few others. I love the edge it takes and I'd prefer it over S90V & S110V

I picked up a really nice pair this month.

One is an old US made Schrade LB8 which appears to be unused and never carried.

The other is an older Schrade 125OT with carbon steel blade and brass liner lock, in near new condition.

Pretty pleased with these finds.
