Anschutz North America is expecting a delivery.
Expensive stuff, price is similar to Lapua X-Act.
Used to be great stuff

Sounds right to me, dog.
How is the fit between the receiver and inletting?
Any room for movement?

Seems fine. I do not want to invest any $ in pillar bedding. If I can't find right ammo I am going to get rid of it.

Yep, rifle is capable of decent accuracy, as are you.
How well do you think the ammunition will do for 50 shots on one target at 100 yards?
Base your answer on what the other 45 shots from that box did.
Group sizes at 100 yards will be roughly triple the size of the groups produced at 50 yards.

Sounds like you're on the right path.

We had similar results, 2.5" to 3 inch groups with several brands. The first year we had it, it love CCI 40g, bought some more of them, a different lot, and they opened right up. Tried the Hornady's 30g V-Max and we were back down to around 1.25" 5 round groups at 100 yards. Which is fine for groundhogs.

Hopefully, you'll find a decent lot of ammo.

I'm not sure what it would do at 100 the ammo comes in a 200rnd box only and I've probably shot 4 of those through the gun and they seem to be very consistent.
Not a lot of target shooting tho

Looks like I need to purchase a box and try it.
50, 100 and 200 yards to find out if it is consistent.
I like playing with my chronograph.

I have wondered about the CCI 35 grain. My best groups have been 5 groups of 3 shots each. Each of the group was less than 1/2" at 50 yds. Each group was inside of my bullseve which is .5". I shot a 3 shot group and did some chores between groups. When I came back the barrel was completely cool and then I shot another 3 shot group, did chores and repeated. I did this to check for first shot flyers in relation to actual hunting. Gun used was CZ 455 American Stainless. Ammo was CCI 30 gr VMax.

In prior testing, I noticed that if I shot 5 shot groups, the 4 th or 5 th shot frequently opened up the group. The barrel would be much warmer than my 22 LR barrels after 5 shots. Anybody else notice this on a sporter weight 22 Mag?

True of any magnum rimfire.
Punching paper with magnum rimfire I have to pay attention to barrel temps.
17hmr, 17wsm, 22wmr I shoot 5, then take a break. let the barrel cool back down.
My rifles are all heavy barrels, yet 50 shots can take almost an hour.

Well I got out this morning finally it's is starting to come together. I took shims out swapped scopes shot at 50 yrs . The Winchester 30gr varmint shot a 5 shot group all touching 30 v max right behind did not like 40 at all and 50 gr wasn't bad next time I will try at 100 yds. I feel a little better about this cz.

Jaia, will likely confirm this, but if you're now able to achieve tight groups at 50 yards, you're not likely to open up more than an 1" more at 100 yards from your 50 yard groups. So, if you're now grouping .75" at 50 yards, I'd expect that you should be under 1.75" at 100 yards, wind/weather being same, same. This is what I'd expect to be well within a properly set up CZ455WMR rifles capable cone of fire with standard quality ammo.

FYI, with the Hornady V-MAX ammo, as the barrel heated up we experienced predictable stringing. Not a concern of ours for this hunting rifle.

From the time spent with rimfire at 50, 100 and 200 yards I came up with a basic relationship
between group size and different distances. The half-third rule means that if you halve the distance
the group size should be third of what you produced. Reversing it doesn't work as well due to wind differences.
But as a quick approximation double the distance means triple the spread is close enough.
So a half inch at 50 yards means 1.5 inches at 100 yards and 4.5 inches at 200 yards.
It's not a straight line spread. Wind and gravity are forces and the effects are cumulative over time.
The more time it takes to get to the target the more deflection occurs. Most cases the trajectories
are parabolic curves, but wind shifts can create odd jogs both vertically and horizontally.
Add cartridge defects to the equation and you can get unpredictable strays.
