ok, im positive, it;s the spring that works the hammer. got it now.
we get home, we'll try cutting one coil off,
question ? how do you remove the hammer spring? any eazy way you do that ?

Removing and reinstalling the hammer spring may be the hardest part of all this work. I remember the rifle needed to be uncocked. The tricky part was making sure the flat piece of metal that the hammer spring pushes against at the rear end (the piece the flat hammer rod goes thru) is flipped the correct way. That flat hammer rod piece will go thru it no matter which way it is flipped but there is only one correct way. If you could cut the one coil off without removing the hammer spring you would avoid the confusion but I think you have to remove the hammer spring.
i still cannot see the pictures, all i see is a littel box with a red ''x''.....
i think i understand , the flat bar that the hammer spring rests against.
we'll give it a try.

Send me a P.M. with your email address and I can email you the missing pics and you can print them out.
Thanks. I hope the 75c is close enough to be the same way.
G.
I've never seen a 75c but if it works that's all that matters. I doubt if it would have assembled correctly or functioned correctly if you made a mistake.
