Just in case this helps anyone, Ive had some feed failures and misfires at the beginning with my m4 22, but Ive found that I was improperly loading the mags.

What has worked for me was to not use the mag assist lever at all, and load each cartridge against 100% tension, and make sure that the rim of the cartridge is snug against the back of the mag as you load it. I ran about 100 rounds so far and no issues yet after doing this.

Also oiled the upper/chamber surface, but I doubt that really helped.

I just sent back my M4-22 for misfires and not ejecting yesterday. I have 15 rounds through it, with 9 of them being misfires. Not happy with this.
