There is a thread that began when Classic first advertised them:

https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forum....php?t=1118930

When I ordered mine, I was told that they had about 200 of them available for sale, and only 20 of these were graded as very good. Well now, after several months, all the very good graded rifles are listed as out of stock. The remaining rifles are those that were in a lower graded condition that had some degree of damage, or were missing some original parts, however, their sales prices has been reduced which apparently was a serious concern for some posters.

If you are interested in collecting odd specimens of training rifles it's certainly a crap shoot weather or not you get a good one. For that much money as a shooter I'd personally opt for a NEW CZ trainer. rc

Got one last month, paid $ 370, solid , a bolt that could stand a 30.06 recoil, good sights and more than acceptable trigger pull, the bluing was almost 100% but the original finish of the metal, the quality of the original factory finish is not one of its bright sides, its rather rustic, made not for commercial purposes under a communist rule.Good sights and very precise.Mine had the swivels missing, but its easy to get similar ones.I'd recommend it to you and consider its a scarce piece.

Hate to bring an old thread back from the dead. Looks like Classic is selling some of these in fair to good condition and just drop price to $199. Any idea on likelihood of getting a shooter from one of these? Not concerned with looks but just hoping to find one that shot decent.
