Local dealer has two like new Finnfire P94 hunter model rifles. Are they worth $1299 each?

Wow! Is that what they're going for now? I know they've been discontinued for a while, but I had no idea. Anyway...

I guess it depends on how bad you want one. You say "like new," but I can't see paying that much unless they were pristine NIB and I wanted one REAL bad. But that's just one man's opinion.

There's a NIB on Gunbroker now for less:

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=210209140

It has the iron sights too, which the import models didn't generally have.

My buddy picked one up about five years ago for $750. I would grab one for that price but I think $1299 is a bit high. They are like new in the box but still.

It seems to me that even a few years ago you could get one for aournd $750, but maybe I'm misremembering. The years are going by faster and faster...

If you want one, I'd bide my time and look around. You will find better deals than that.

That would be closer to the price for the pair than it would be for each.

I concur with others as $1299 is definitely on the high side

$750 is a fair price as you can find them online from time to time

I have 2 Finnfires and love these rifles

New in the box P94 hunter or Varmit hover around $1100 here in Canada, Range's go up to $2000 NIB, so anything well look after up here range $750 and up? And we have alot more of them in Canada, so market I guess drives up price of demand? I would pay $1000 no problem right now, but our ecomomy hasn't taked like you fellows in the lower 48, god bless and I hope your econimy turns around very soon, Dale the Cannuck!(PS the Quad has tanked here in Canada!)

When I managed the Pro Shop at a local Country Club we'd get the "snow birds" passing though on their way to Florida, I could tell you some stories, Crazy ain't the half of it.

Yah were a little differrent for sure, but a good lot for the most part. My family immigrated from the US in the 1890's, but half of them stayed in Minnesota, and we had great visits as kids and teenagers in Minniapolas whith my Moms family, funny thing we think you guys are different, hahah! It is funny that we are so close, but so differrent in out ways of thinking, Hope you all have a great year, cheers Dale Z the crazy Cannuck! PS buy as many P94S's as you can find, as they are the nicest Sako has made in the last 20 years!

You have to be slightly `eccentric` to live in a climate like this but I wouldn`t change it for anywhere else.!!!! (even if it does mean digging a path to the targets when at the range.) Tony

I paid $600CDN for my Varmint a few weeks ago with everything in excellent condition with two mags, so now I have the Range stock($300), it has cost me $900 with two stocks to choose from. Well pleased.! Tony

If they are the ones with the raised cheekpiece stock, and they had the box and papers and were really excellent or like new, I could see perhaps $900 to $1000, but $1299 is really much higher than I've seen in the market in the last year or two.

If they just have the Monte Carlo stock, and are in excellent but used, I wouldn't pay more than $800 to $850 for one. JMO.
