4 5/8” Bisley ?

I like short barrels on my Single Action Revolvers. Thinking of finding me someone to chop the barrel and drill it for the sight .
I measured and just in front of the ejector is right at 4 5/8” .
I think 4 5/8” Bisley would be sweet .

I agree- my favorite packing pistol is a Bisley in 44 spl with a 4 5/8 bbl.

I once bought a 44 mag Bisley and a 45 Colt Blackhawk with a 4 5/8 bbl and swapped the grip frames, triggers, hammers to get a short bbl. Bisley. Sold the 44 with the plow-handled grips to lessen the pain.

I think that would be a great idea. I owned the same model Bisley and found it a bit heavy for 22 Rimfire. I would go for it.
