Your 1022 Takedown Picture Thread.
Well, you just knew it was going to happen sooner or later. All of the other species of 1022's have their own picture threads so why not have one for the Takedown versions?
Here's your chance to show us your 1022 Takedown rifles and your carry bag contents.
Bone stock, lightly modified, heavily modified or Frankensteined beyond all recognition.....we want to see 'em all!
Show us your stocks, show us your scopes, show us your slings, show us your sights. Show us the stash you carry in your Takedown bag and any other accessories and modifications with which you have tricked out your Takedowns.
Come on, we know you got 'em so let's see 'em!

Here's a start.
My unmolested Takedown.
Although unmolested it has not remained. I have had the barrel lobbed off at 16", threaded and sight relocated. I have modified the bolt release, angled the bottom of the bolt, installed a synthetic bolt stop and done a trigger job. I am currently waiting on an OD green Hogue stock upgrade with a lot more mods and accessories to come.
Cool little rifles.

Fun indeed.
Your knife lanyard....did you make that? I'm going to make a paracord sling for my takedown.....it just seems right.

this is my camo take down tactical over my Chiappa Little Badger. I have only dropped the trigger down to 3lbs and radiused the bolt. It will always have tech sights on it. I could hit a penny at 50 yards with it. This is a phenomenal rifle.

Interesting that you could fit that scope using the Ruger rail strip. I couldn't get the Bug Buster's rings to fit in any of the slots and still attach to the scope body.
I ordered a UTG Picatinny rail strip (8 bucks) and solved the problem.

So far...
Im just playing around with the lasermax on this for now. final plans include stainless barrel band and a polished metal buttplate. will also find a nice silver scope to put on it as well. i love the classic wood and stainless look for this particular build.

Mrmoose97; Looks great and that's exactly what I was planning with my lasermax and wood stock. What was your finish method to that wood stock?
