In a off hand handgun match. Shot this this week.
I used an A23 50 yard target at 10 yards
Open sights
Smith and Wesson Victory
Aguila Super Extra HV
50 shots
Total score 336

Yep is scattered very where that's purely me and old eyes . Will be putting a dot sight on it.

Here is the target from my range visit today.I shot my High standard military 107
at 10 yards and fired 45 shots of Aquila standard volosity off hand with open sights.
I would appreciate an experienced member scoring this target.

For 45 shots and a possible 450 points you scored 436 points , if the hole in scoring ring 4 is actually a bullet hole? ? if not add 6 points for a score of 442 . the X count looks like 8 or 9 X's

I use this target at 25, but I don't have access to a 10 yard range. Do it at 25 and I'll be in.

Get/make a target frame that you can place anywhere you want.

I know a lot of range officers would probably go bananas if you wanted to shoot at 10 yds and everyone else was at 25 or whatever, but why??

I'm not a target shooter. Most of my shooting is at steel but I think I'll give this a try tomorrow after I test fire my Black Mamba. It does have a C-More dot on it but it's a 12 MOA. A 3 MOA would be better for shooting groups.

The state range I use would not permit placement of target stands anywhere but the berm.

Hey I would live to do some rimfire pistol online competitions. it should be simple to set up just modify the Fun Shoots Rules or Offhand Rifle Rules for pistols. I would definaty join in.

I've been thinking of this, and tried last week to duplicate the 25 and 50 yard offhand rifle match, but at 10 yds. Same A-23 targets, 5 targets, 10 shots each, 10 yards distant.

Today's score (first try):
Target #1: 83, 0X
Target #2: 67, 0X
Target #3: 72, 1X
Target #4: 68, 0X
Target #5: 75, 0X
Total : 365, 1X

I posted this in the Buckmark thread 'cause that's what I shot. Maybe in today's market it should be 5 targets 5 shots each.
