First gun I ever shot was a Nylon 66 my dad got my saving S&H Green Stamps. (Who remembers those?) Ran it for years after he died and it now belongs to my nephew in Knoxville. I still get to shoot it once in a while when I get back there.

My Nylon 66.............

I have a brown "66" that I have owned for almost 57 years! I got it for Christmas in 1962. It always works, feeds anything .22LR and has never jammed! I did put a click adjustable peep sight on the receiver cover to help my old eyes see the front sight and target better! I have shot this gun in steel plate matches using plastic tubes for a quick reload, much like the Blakesly tubes used with the Spencer carbines in the late secession disturbance. Works great, never won with it, but it does get lots of looks and positive comments!

I'm a huge fan of the Nylon rifles. I bought my first Apache Black in the '60s and still have it. I've had various models and colors but the AB is my favorite. I think it's one of the best semi-auto .22 rifles ever made.

I have a couple of .PDF files that you may find interesting and/or useful. One is the factory manual, the other is a history of the plastic rifles. They are too large (4 and 5 MB) to attach here but if you want a copy of one or both, I can email it/them to you.

Bigfoot???
In the woods above the dishwasher? Yep...Bigfoot!

I have a nylon 76 I get out from time to time. still shoots great. It was my very first squirrel rifle 42 years ago. The only lever action Remington ever produced.
