Sounds like another super trigger. I have one on a 455 and would like to have one for my 457 Varmint. I'm ready when Bill is.

My BSCAR 455 trigger really has made me a trigger snob. Like going from box wine to $200/bottle wine. I can't go back again. Made me reevaluate all my other "good" triggers.

If anyone can pull off a group like that at that distance, it's you! Can't wait to see it when it happens!

If specs and cost are similiar to the 455 triggers Iíd likely buy one. I have one for my 455. Its a fantasistic trigger.

I donít even own a 457 but if thereís a bscar trigger coming then that would likely put me over the edge.

Bad news guys..

I've had some discussions with Bill and things aren't quite like he'd like them to be before he starts mass producing these triggers. Here's a copy of the note that he has been replying to those who have been expressing interest...

"I want to thank you for your interest in the 457 two stage trigger.

The test trigger that you may have read about is performing very well. The trigger though has some manufacturing problems. It is extremely hard to setup and it has a very limited pull weight range.

After much thought, I have decided that I will not be offering this trigger as it is today. Even though it is performing well, it does not live up to my expectations.

I will continue to work on a design that I can feel good about.

Thanks for your support,

Bill"

Nice to see someone who refuses to compromise pride and integrity to make a quick buck.

Wish there were more like him out there.....

Your comment pretty much sums up what I told him when he let me know that there would be a holdup on production.

Bill is definitely NOT a "It's good enough" kind of a guy. He has a vision and nothing short of that vision will do.

Iíve spoken with him before, and this makes me respect him even more. His products are his reputation and he values that above all else. Give him time. It will be right when heís happy with it.

Fully agree. I remember when I got talked into buying his 455 trigger by others here at RFC. Had my doubts it was that good. I did think it was best option but until I installed and used it I didnt fully understand. It's the real unicorn. His 457, ounce finalized, will be the same.
