FWB question

I have inherited a FWB 600 target rifle. I am not familiar with these at all. I notice that the barreled action seems to slide back and forth in the stock, what's up with this, is it normal? Thanks.

The FWB300 is a recoil-less springer, which operates as you've stated. The FWB600 is a single stroke pneumatic, and there should be no movement of the action in the stock.

Fwb603 or 602 had a recoilless action that moved opposite of recoil. Pretty desirable ssp single stroke pneumatic. Iíve been looking for one for awhile.

The 600 series SSP's should have no recoil. Just a valve opening to dump air.

If you're really looking for one watch American Airguns or Target Talk classifieds. They just had a 601 sell for $550.

Yes, your 300S actions appears to move in the stock. Very fine quality rifles.

Cool, they're as much fun as the newer ones.

I recommend you figure out which variant you have - a Mini, a Running target, etc. The non "standard" varieties are worth a little/lot more.
