New Ruger LiteRack Pistol!!!
Posting this here because the SR22 is the only other Ruger 22 pistol with a slide.
Check it out:
https://ruger.com/micros/liteRack/
They also have several .380 variations of this same LCP II.

Thanks! I got email today and as always glad to see anything from Sturm Ruger. I am interested in this and will be waiting to hear how it performs. With any rimfire dependability is always a issue. Now that there are new rimfire offerings from Ruger and Glock it will be fun to handle and range test both.

Neat, I'm glad they made it hold 10 rounds, too.

I too am glad that the round count is 10. The safety on this one is bit different but I am very glad they have one here. This is one that I may just go ahead and get without waiting for a trial run. I will be waiting for those more knowing than I for feedback.

I am absolutely picking up an LCP II in 22lr. I'm glad I saw this thread, I was just about to buy a Beretta 21a. I'll wait for this one to hit the streets instead.

The LCP is a tiny gun, it's kinda sadly hilarious that Ruger made it hold 10 rounds of .22 LR right off the bat while Glock couldn't be bothered to make the G44 mag hold 15 rounds (let alone its other bean-counter issues).

Yupp.. I think it has a place in our lil' pocket pistol planet.
I am not a fan of pocket pistols.. or the 380 caliber .. so... I JUST BOUGHT ONE .. changed my other mind and just had to have the LCP II 380.. got a fantastic deal on freeky Friday.. love the lil' booger.. bought the Hogue pull on grip sleeve and the 7 rd. mag and it's fit my big ol' bear paw pretty well now! Added the Veridian Reactor series laser Real decent trigger and last shot hold on the II .. I have worn it for a few weeks now in a multitude of ways/positions and all are excellent.. even a BugBite ankle holster .. Gotta get some rounds thru it soon.

Picked up the LCP II/22 last week. It is a smaller gun than the Glock and is a true pocket pistol. First time out with it, I ran 170 rounds thru it. I had a single fail to fire that was the fault of the cartridge, as I tried that round in my rough rider and rotated it 3 more times and still no bang. it will not replace my LC9s, but will be in my carry rotation.

I've been reading a lot of reports of light strikes. Glad you aren't having the problem. I think I'm going to wait a few months and see if those complaints calm down.

For fun yes, sd carry no. Rimmed , rimfire , semi auto. Possibly the least reliable combination available. Rimmed means maybe rimlock, rimfire means maybe no bang, semi auto maybe no cycle in coat pocket or against a body. Three maybes means a much higher chance of failure.
25 acp in a pocket pistol , ok. H https://youtu.be/nnnJ0vjXQmo not my choice but better than a 22. My 2 cents.

Whoop-tee-doo. 22 semis aren't hard to rack at all, even for an antique like me with a bum wrist.

They can be. For a while my mother had my Ruger mk III as her HD gun. She couldn't easily rack it, because of her arthritis. So I installed one of these.

No racking needed on a beretta 21a. Just pop the barrel and drop one in the chamber
