Well, the adjustable rings arrived. I bought the medium rings. I think I maybe, coulda, shoulda bought the high rings.

I was wrong in my previous post. It "looks like" the mounts are perfectly in line behind each other. They aren't. Laying a yard stick tightly between the bases and the receiver the other end of the yardstick was swinging past the end of the barrel.

For the scope I'm using (a straight 6x), I had to remove the rear sight completely. And still, just barely, had enough room.

It's boresighted, but it may be late April before I can actually get out and finish the sighting in process.

Never used the safety much. Probably won't use it at all now.

Sorry, can't get the pictures to attach such that they'll orient correctly.

What is the scope you put on your rifle? I have a older Bushnell 6X on a Rem 580 and love it ,i did reset the parallax .

I put a 6x Ultralux on it that a friend gave to me specifically for this rifle.
