I think we need a poll, but still discuss this some more in this thread!!

I want anyone to be able to make a SuperStock, marlin, rem, etc does not matter.

I think the only confinement to SuperStock is a sporter type barrel, and a stock that resembles the factory stock, do what ever you please with the rest of the gun, just make it SHOOT.

That is pretty close to the general consensus Clint. The feelings I'm getting is that we may not need a poll but if someone wants to run one.......I guess it could not hurt.

Ricohet, it has only been a few days, these things take time. Please everybody.......let's NOT start whining about how this is being handled. I am SO proud that there has not been a bad word exchanged so let's not change that.

I have been made NO promises but I have been asked to be patient as "these things take time"............. I feel VERY good about this. Even if it were not to happen it is not the end of the world. We have started something really good here!!

We are only 5 days in from the beginning and only a day or two from my letter. Easy does it for now..........Please???

No excuse needed my friend. There is work being done. let's let that happen and see what comes of it. I really appreciate your enthusiasm Ricochet, thank you.

Thumbs up Poll

I think a poll is a good idea. Does anyone out there know how to set one up? I have seen polls in other threads but I'm not computer savy enough to know how. Is it that difficult?

Ok, I ran through the last 5 or so pages real fast but will this qualify as a superstock? GM fluted sporter and factory stock with some trigger upgrades.

Don't worry, the bipod was only for photo purposes. This is by no means a heavy bench gun, I built this for the soul purpose of hunting and at 6lbs it fits the criteria. I have a little work left, getting the barrel free floated is the main objective for now.

With an aftermarket barrel that fits the contour I'd say it goes in the SuperModified division of the SuperStockers.

Looks good

Supermodified ??

bass singer,
as of yet ?? dont think there is a class, rules which there are none, to cover aftermarket bbls. more like a "cheater" class which there are none also, yet

wanna use the GM as a baseline to see how the factory bbls compare to with diff types of ammo at a certain yardage.

That's the one that cost me all that money to build the one I posted back a few pages

veyr nice handy rifle, I liked it enough to have one also built with iron sights (I love iron sights for hunting/plinking) so really that cost me two SuperStock prices LOL

AK that is one sharp setup.
