Whistlepig barrel

I got to playing around with my olive drab Whistlepig barreled action this morning. Trying different stocks with a cheap reflex red dot .
Slipped it into a Bell & Carlson Anschutz style stock and was surprised that on my trigger spring scale it weighs an even 5# .
The action is a Ruger 50th anniversary action and bolt that was Qued back when he was working on them . Has a Kidd drop in trigger kit .
Combo has a great feel to it . I think it’d be a quick swinger on some steel targets .

Mine's in a Hogue OverMold stock. I need more magnification than a red dot, but if you're just shooting steel plates, it would be a light and fast combo.

Thanks !
Got to the range today . Took one build with the Whistlepig barrel in a Hogue stock and one with my Kidd ULW Barrel in a Bell and Carlson stock .
With a Nikon EFR , I couldn’t get the Kidd ULW sighted in . Not enough elevation . Luckily I had brought along a 2-7 Nikon Tactical Rimfire scopethat sighted in with a few shots .
Once sighted in , I spent the next couple of hours tearing up a couple of soup cans at the 115 yard berm . I love shooting something that reacts when hit .

Those cans look like they were ran through a meat grinder.
