Getting ready to order one myself for a steel challenge gun, adding on the fluting. Sold a gun on GB and time to reinvest! I am sure you will like it, cannot wait to get mine.

HEY.. Those look familiar
Built two similar to yours..

The tan one for me.. Ruger receiver with JWH Custom CNC bolt, Tactical Solutions threaded barrel, Weaver 430-T scope rail, Bushnell TRS-25 Real Tree Camo red dot sight, BlackHawk Axiom RF Stock with Amazon (generic) BiPod.

Current production Ruger trigger group reworked by the nice folks at Clark Custom; includes aluminum trigger with OTS, installed into a OEM Ruger aluminum housing - like Ruger used in the good ole days.

Upon return I installed: Speed Beez Stainless Steel Auto Bolt Release CeraCoated Flat Black; EDM Defense Stainless Steel Ejector & pin set.

Built the silver / blue one for my kid's first rifle.. Ruger stainless receiver with jeweled JWH Custom speed bolt, Tactical Solutions barrel, Weaver 430-T scope rail, Bushnell TRS-25 red dot.

BlackHawk Axiom RF Stock [very lightweight & fully adjustable so a 10-year can shoot it today & when he gets older] with Amazon (generic) BiPod.

Ruger [old school] silver aluminum trigger group rebuilt by the nice folks at Clark Custom; includes aluminum trigger with OTS - 1/2 the cost of KIDD & infinitely more reliable.
Upon return I installed: Speed Beez Stainless Steel Auto Bolt Release CeraCoated Flat Black; EDM Defense Stainless Steel Ejector & pin set.

Both eat Federal bulk (Walmart) ammo from BX-25's all day long without a hitch. There also a very accurate rifle's.

"Infinitely more reliable" than a KID trigger?

I haven't heard of too many reliability issues with KID triggers.

I personally have a dozen Kidd triggers (2 stage, single stage, & kit). Every single one of them runs with 100% reliability. A Kidd kit is only $100. So that would mean that Clark "rebuilt" your trigger and between shipping both ways it was only $50? I've said it a thousand times but I guess I'll say it again. Kidd triggers are far and away the best trigger available for the 10/22 no matter which one you decide to go with. That doesn't mean nobody should ever use another trigger. But to say it is more reliable at 1/2 the cost is ridiculous.
