So just picked up my walther colt 22lr. I want to put new grips on do i have to buy the bushing that i hear people talking about. And where is a good place to buy grips? thanks

Take a look at "lok grips " they are g10 very nice and reasonably priced. Many different color combinations and styles for 1911. I don't think unless you go with ultra thin grips will you have to charge bushings. They are available through lok and they have been great to deal with. If you are on the cheap magpul makes perfectly serviceable grips, I'm pretty sure midway or brownells has them for under 20$. Lok grips are about 50$ depending on style. Wooden grips and other grips for 1911 are all over the place style and price. Stuck with the loks as they really are well made and don't slip around . I shoot my 1911s.

I like the 1911s in the rimfire platform..I want one of those RIA 22 Magnums..But they can only be found on Gunbroker for twice retail right now..
