Hi-Standard Model B-US

I just bought one of these WW2 martially marked Model B's training pistols. I don't have it yet so I'm on pins and needles waiting for it to arrive. I've owned two Model H-D Militaries for lots of years and this will go with my military pistol collection nicely.

Yep, Big Mike,
This one is 98,XXX so it falls well within the contract years. Has the PROPERTY OF U.S. and Ordnance Wheel stamp. It's in very nice condition too.

Thanks for the information. I got a lot of information on them from Charles Pate's book U.S. Handguns of World War II. It appears most of them were used by the Navy.

ammoman,
Is it the black box and what color is the label? Does it have the ordnance wheel stamped on it. Also does it have another pistol's serial number written on it? Last question, condition and price.
Thanks.
