RFC shirts

i was looking into doing this before i moved. my plate is way too full to even think about another project. so i'm not going to be able to do it. Knitepoet did a run of these a while back but all his info died with his hard drive. so it will be a scratch effort for whoever takes up the cause. keep

A good idea. I would be interested in a well designed Tee that reflected the 10/22 and RFC on it. Maybe a Ruger symbol and the RFC banner with it. Nonya had a great idea. A contest for the best Tee design. Gets folks encouraged and I bet some of the designs will be 'over the top'. Just had an idea for one myself....a picture of a 'tricked' out 10/22 with the RFC logo. The possibilities are endless.

My only suggestion to this is if it becomes a reality, please put the design on a top quality Tee shirt. Even if it adds to the expense, a quality Tee goes a long way. I'd be willing to buy a few...

Using the ruger logo would be a copyright infringment, best to have a RFC logo original.

Yes, I thought of that after pushing the 'post' button. If one asks, I'm sure they'd say yes, as long as the little circle with the C in it, is after it. (Showing it's a copyrighted name.) Guess it boils down to what the laws are, but I believe if you use the copyright symbol after anything that's copyrighted it's OK, but I'm not a lawyer....

To stay away from problems, your probably correct. Better to use the RFC or make a logo to go with it. My head is spinning with designs....contest?

I want an RFC shirt too! Who is there with ties to Admin that could head up this? And the time to put into it?
We talked about it before but nemo got too busy. I kinda still think Cafepress.com would be a good way to go.

Any others that have shirts wanna sell? Or just post a pic to show us yungins what they looked like?

Nothing wrong with the Eagle/Rifle logo, but as we all know with all the great ideas these guys/gals come up with to trick out their 10/22's, they'll come up with some killer (no pun intended) new logos. IMO, a contest of logo designs, picking the best (or voting by the members) would be the best way to bring out the best of ideas. I just think it's a great idea to get the members involved in new logo making and then putting it on a quality Tee shirt.
