Pretty much everything is cancelled everywhere!

St. Patrick's day parades and parties have been cancelled, as well as the Boston Marathon. All major sports have been put on hold, as well as all the NCAA games and tournaments.

Schools here will be closed, making the vacation for the kids now instead of later.

Correct decisions? Who knows?

That will probably make the fall show epic! I'd almost consider driving up for that one just to see, but probably won't. I've gone a few times over the years & have found some good deals and its a great place to find obscure parts. Prices vary, but I'd say its primarily a seller's market.. until Sunday and it rains up there too. That's when the best deals I've made occurred, when someone was still trying to make 'table money' and didn't wanna have to haul anymore than they had to out of there in the rain. Just saying.

And the Wuhan/corona virus thing should be history by then, I'd hope. The elections will be, in any case, if I'm not mistaken.

Exactly. I hard on the news there was ONE case of pneumonia for an elderly lady in the whole State of Maine. Suspected, as yet unconfirmed, that she started out with corona. The response, schools closed and state house closed! The official was quoted "in an abundance of caution". "Abundance of panic" is more like it. That is all for one old woman with pneumonia! My mother died of pneumonia, BTW. I am not unsympathetic. This happens.

I am sure come November, all will be well again. Hint. ...

It might make more sense to hold the games and broadcast. Ticket sales are not the only source of revenue. I dont know the numbers, but; I suspect this BUSINESS is alot more than tickets.

you would only be partly correct....

estimated revenues for dogs, nachos, coke, pepsi, beer, cheeses fries --per game-- are in the millions of $$$$$$$$

ad companies also assume sports bar and home viewers into total commodity sales per game

bottom line is National sports are a very significant part of our economy...many billions approaching trillion with word wide audiences

this over hyped pandemic has done more harm already than 1929 crash
