Rebuilding Glenfield Model 25

Just finished my first ever rebuild. It is a 1967 Glenfield Model 25. Put it back to as close to original as I could.

Good job on the rebuild. Nice to find them with the Glenfield scope still on them. I have one made in 1972 with a Hakko scope on it.

Come on you Marlin Aficionados! Whats the the difference between a Glenfield Model 20 and a Model 25? The stock? Why is his bolt conical at the back end vs mine being flat? Etc

Nice work on the refurb, looks great.

I picked up this old beater Model 25 for $75 a couple years ago, just cleaned it up a bit, didn't do a full refurb on her. The bottom one is a 25MN 22 mag

Looks like the Bolts on the 25's are conical on the end vs the Model 20 that are flat on the end and of coarse the stocks are different checkered vs non

I have two 25mn's. One has a pressed checkered stock with the diamonds and the other has a plain stock. Otherwise they are the same.
