Bullbery should produce an encore kit with the correct rimfire breach conversion kit, barrel and heavy hammer spring. Bet they’d sell a few. I’m surprised there aren’t more producers of single shot wsm’s out there.

Henry could easily and at 1/2 the cost of the Winchester 1885. In general I'm surprised Henry hasn't stepped up to fill the single shot rimfire void created when H&R folded.

For you guys that go to these much heavy springs in you Encore's, does it give you a heavier trigger pull as well?

Not really, Bellm has a kit that improves the trigger and gives a harder strike.

Not Encore, but my H&R is just under 3lb with trigger work. I never tried to get it lower after going to 2 hammer springs.
