The 411 on a Browning A-Bolt Laminated

I have just completed a search and gone through over 35 pages (over 3 years worth!) on here looking for information on the A-Bolt Laminated Brownings! Ran across 2 or 3 about it... but not much more. Am I looking in the wrong place?

I understand there were 390 - 400 of these made (depending on the source). Does this include Both sited and non-sited versions? Does anyone know what numbers were made of each? Yes, I have heard that the non-sited versions are more desirable (read, worth more) and I seem to run across more of these than the sited guns! I just picked up a sited version that was made in the 1st year if production. Were they made together or scattered throughout the production?

I find it quite funny that I picked one up, as I pretty much abhor laminated stocks and could never imagine myself ever owning one!! Never say never!! I ran across this one and was quite smitten! I had to have it. So, now it sits in the case with my other high-end .22's!

I don't know how much, "action" this part of the forum sees, but hopefully, I can get some input.

Thanx in advance, everyone!

Robert

I'm sorry, I don't have much knowledge in these particular rifles, I just love to see pictures. I hope you get some responses from those who are in the know.

No sights. 1:390 or so. Before this madness sold NIB one for $800. Brought less than the abolt surprisingly. No interest in it for months

I can't offer any historical information,
But I can tell you I find your rifle very sleek and nice to look at.
I like the laminated stock. Nice acquisition.
